Boat Sneaker

An alternative to the classic docksider type shoe for boating, is the boat sneaker. Another canvas/vulcanized style with pattern simplicity so that it isn’t too heavy and doesn’t take too long to dry. The aspect of this type of shoe I was excited to work on was the outsole. I wanted to create something different from traditional siping and bring a nautical element into the tread pattern. The knotted rope seems a perfect choice.
